Dear readers,

March has been a long, intense and very fruitful month. But before sharing my good news, let me give you some background.

Last November I embarked on the exciting and challenging adventure of building up my own company, STELD. As some of you know, I’m a psychologist, I work with people and I had little to no knowledge of how to start a business. I did have some classes at University where they taught me how to develop a business idea, but to be honest my mind was wandering when the lesson took place. So, when I decided to make my dream come true, I had a lot to do and learn before getting off the ground. Little by little STELD got a name, a package of services, a logo, a website, a blog. Little by little STELD became real.

It’s been five months of hard work since creating STELD, but more than a year giving shape to my ideas. Although the journey has just begun, I’m an optimistic and enthusiastic woman who loves celebrating achievements at any stage of the way. So here I am, sharing with you our milestones from March.

I’ve hired an Intern, because I believe that the best way to grow as a business is having a great team.

We’ve had our first meeting to build up a parents network with a lovely group of Spanish-speaking mothers who live in the Netherlands, facing the challenges of being an expat on top of the common challenges of raising children and, specifically, teenagers. Through the network we will share feelings, support each other, consult situations that we don’t feel well-equipped to handle and develop skills to educate our children from a humane, respectful, compassionate and safe parenting style.
Our next meeting will be in April.

We’ve been developing our social media campaign. Soon you can follow us on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn where we can keep growing as a community, because helping teenagers to become the best version of themselves is a social responsibility.
